Plastic Granulation at Global
At Global Paper and Plastic Ltd, we don’t just collect plastic—we process it. Our in-house granulation system allows us to convert post-industrial and post-consumer plastic waste into reusable plastic granules that can be reintroduced into manufacturing cycles.
We handle a wide range of plastics, including LDPE, HDPE, PP, and PET, and process them through the following steps:
- Sorting & Preparation – Plastics are sorted by type and cleaned to remove contaminants.
- Shredding – The material is mechanically shredded into smaller, manageable flakes.
- Granulation – The flakes are then granulated into uniform plastic pellets, ready for reuse.
- Quality Control – Every batch is inspected to ensure it meets quality standards for resale or reprocessing.
These granules are then supplied to UK and overseas manufacturers to produce new plastic items, helping close the loop on waste and supporting a more circular economy.
